We can deal directly with your SAP assessor on new and existing properties, obtaining confirmation of Building Regulations compliance and to assist our customers as required.
All SAP advice is independent and based on what would be best for the customer rather than either selecting what would be the quickest way to get SAP / Building Regulations compliance or what would be the most economically beneficial options from the SAP Assessor point of view.
Handover Packs
REDD offers a handover pack option on all heat pump systems for the new build housing sector.
The provision of a plot specific handover pack is a requirement with any heat pump system but the compilation of such information is a costly and time consuming process. With our complimentary design service we can quickly and efficiency gather the required data, during the design process.
Upon completion of the build of a property, REDD will provide a comprehensive pack including all requirements listed on the MCS installer handover checklist.
MCS accredited hand over packs can be very expensive and are a requirement on multi plot developments.
REDD can provide the same information at a fraction of the cost – this cost is expected to be £350 + vat per plot but this costing is flexible based on the number of plots on the site in question.
This service removes the worry from the developer, installer and manufacturer that the correct information is provided to the houseowner at handover.
The customer receives a document containing all necessary certificates & warranties, associated energy calculations and manufacturers information on correct operation of any of the installed system components.
